These pieces are composed and edited with Photoshop, primarily from my own photographs, and produced on paper with archival quality giclee printing. My intentions for this project are to connect with people through art, to create work that provides a sense of levity and joy for the viewer, and to have fun in the process of doing so. Each collage begins with one or two photographs that I'm enamored by at the time, and that attract other photographs in turn, and so on.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMuch of the satisfaction of this work is derived from observing the ways in which images interact with other images, whether whole or as fragments, leading to the creation of imaginative new landscapes and designs. I have so far been unwilling to commit to a single compositional direction, continuing to explore new ideas and approaches, resulting in a patchwork of styles, hopefully stitched together adequately by the continuity of the medium. This work is created in association with Joint Effort, a collaborative collage and graphic arts project created with my brother, Jacob, who inspired my collage work with his own.\" Lucas
